  1. Breakfast reading is Philip Lopate’s book on Rudy Burckhardt and bed time is The Architecture of Happiness by Alain de Botton. And dips into Adrienne Rich since April is poetry month!
Raquel, I haven’t forgotten I owe you a formal response to your nomination Of Sanslartigue . . . Must do that 🙂

    • wow!
I’m sorry I don’t know your readings… but “The architecture of happiness” sounds good. I like your “breakfast” and “bed time” thing 😀 great! I do have an “underground” book and a “home” book (bigger and more heavy)
Too much great books and so little time!!

  2. Just checked and the most recent book I have read (discounting local history) was ‘She’ by H. Rider Haggard. I don’t have a fiction book on the go at the moment. I don’t really have favourite, but ‘Dune’ by Frank Herbert sticks in my mind, and ‘Don Quixote’ (not on your list!).

    • I read the first part of “Don Quixote” when I was in High School for the university entrance exam (I think my exam was finally about Antonio Machado and the Latin American writers… not sure). I liked it but I didn’t finish it (haven’t had enough time!). I should include it in my “will read” list!!
